Varna and Veliki Preslav eparchy
There are several recently renovated and well maintained monasteries in the Varna Eparhy and Veliko Tarnovo Eparchy. Among them are the monastery “St.st. Constantine and Elena” , the newly built Balgarevo Monastery “St. Ekaterina” in the village Balagarevo between Kavarna and Kaliakra cape, the Zlatarski Monastery “St. st. Petar and Pavel” between Varna and Shoumen, the Botevo monastery “St. Marina” between Varna and Dobirch, as well as the Alexandria Monastery “St. Iliya the Prophet” , situated 40km north of Dobrich.
